Praise for the Past, Faith for the Future

Mayor of Ards and North Down
The Mayor of Ards and North Down, Mr Alan Graham, invited a delegation of Faith Mission Leaders and Staff to a lunch in the Bangor Town Hall on Monday 14 March 2016. The reason for this was to mark a wonderful milestone in the history of Bangor: The Faith Mission Bangor Convention Centenary. Mr Graham warmly welcomed the delegation and spoke most appreciatively of the impact upon the community in several ways: the promotion of the Christian faith and the obvious commercial benefit to the town when literally tens of thousands of visitors have come to Bangor throughout the past century to attend the Convention each Easter Weekend. The Mayor recalled with gratitude the impact of The Faith Mission upon his family, in particular, his grandfather, who attended The Faith mission Craigantlet Prayer Union.
