Bangor Convention 2008
Noel Darragh Rev Noel Darragh studied at Emmanuel Bible College in the early 1970s, where he later served on the staff. He then pastored Straid Congregational Church (near Ballyclare) for 29 years. In October 2007, he and his wife, Olive, became full-time members of The Faith Mission and he was also appointed President. His ministry is stimulating and challenging and we welcome him as a preacher at the Convention this year.
Patrick McElligott Dr Patrick McElligott was born in S E London and had an amazing conversion when 17 years old. He studied at WK Glasgow and served the Lord in Japan for 34 years. He now lectures in Japanese studies in Reading, where he is also a member of the pastoral team of a Baptist church. He has a real heart for world mission. His ministry at Bangor 2005 was a tremendous blessing and we greatly look forward to his return visit.
David McGaughey  Dr David McGaughey ministered in Mourne Presbyterian Church, Kilkeel, for thirty years and is a past Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland. He has wide experience of preaching at evangelistic missions and conventions. He has a great love for people and preaches the Word of God with heartfelt passion.
Sammy Tippit  Dr Sammy Tippit was born in Louisiana and was converted in 1965. He is an international evangelist and author and has preached at some of the largest evangelistic meetings in the world. He has been powerfully used, preaching in many city-wide crusades in Eastern Europe. He previously ministered at Bangor Convention in 1992 and he has a deep passion to see families united in Christ.
