Central Irish District

The Central Irish District covers all of county Down and part of South Antrim. Trevor Matthews is Director for Ireland and is Superintendent of the Central Irish District. He and his wife Sandra and their four children live at the Mission Headquarters. They are assisted in the Headquarters' office by secretary, Mrs Hazel Pierce, and in the District by Andrew McCullough, who will be conducting missions in the district. Philip and Anne Utley will also be working in the district and will be involved in special ministry.

The work in the District includes:

• Fifty Prayer Unions in this District (interdenominational prayer groups) meet regularly to specifically pray for ongoing Faith Mission work.
• Thirty Rallies and three Conventions are held throughout the year for Bible Teaching and encouragement for these Prayer Unions and other interested Christians.
• Residential Weekends are held for adults and youth.
• Evangelistic Missions
• Door-to-door evangelism
• Coffee Mornings
• Church Services/Family Services
• School Assemblies
• Children’s clubs
• Ladies Meetings
• Literature Displays
• Open-Air Campaign (summer only)
