Central Irish District

Prayer Unions in this district are throughout Co Down and in South and East County Antrim. For your nearest meeting, contact us on central.irish@faithmission.org. Rallies are held around the district throughout the year and will be highlighted on these pages. George & Andrea Conn are involved in the district work,

Trevor and Yvonne Bennett in outreach work in the Newtownards area and around South Down and Naomi Dudgeon is serving the Lord around homes in West Belfast. We really value prayer for all these efforts in the Gospel.

Theme Nights with George Conn

George has many opportunities to do a presentation on the Life of Co Down engineer Harry Ferguson. This is looking at his life from a historical, engineering, farming and Christian point of view and many folk come along to these evenings who would not usually attend church or other meetings. He also does nights on the lives of Cyrus McCormick, Frank Crossley, Henry Ford & John Deere.

A new theme event just started is for a different group looking at the pipe band scene and Christian lessons from the highland Piper and his instrument.

Thursday 15 Ballyblack Community Men’s group, morning tbc
Saturday 17 Killycurragh, Omagh Christian lessons from piper
Friday 23 Bangor West Presbyterian morning Harry Ferguson

Sunday 13 Portaferry centre Henry Ford
Thursday 17 Dungannon Meth Men Henry Ford
