Irish Border District

The Irish Border District covers County Armagh in Northern Ireland, and Counties Monaghan and Cavan in Southern Ireland. There may be differences between the two sides of the Border, political, social and religious, but the most important common denominator is that people need the Lord, regardless of their religious background, race or political beliefs. It is our privilege, by various methods, to share the good news that ‘God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.’ St John’s Gospel, chapter 3, verse 16

Paul Acheson is the superintendent. He and his wife Sharon live in Portadown, Co Armagh, N Ireland.

Garry & Alison Tutty live in Bailieborough, Co Cavan, Southern Ireland. They are known as Area Workers with the Faith Mission.

Gary McKitterick and Richard Allen are involved in outreach and door to door work in various areas of the Border District.

About the Work in the District September - June...Quarterly visits to the Prayer Unions (interdenominational prayer groups), there are 38 in this District. For details of the one nearest to you, please contact us Conferences and Rallies to encourage, build up, teach and challenge God’s own people. We have about forty of these annually, plus two Conventions.

In the Summer...We are then joined by a number of students from the Bible College and we are involved in additional outreach including four weeks of Camp, catering for ages 8-20, and extensive outreach in Counties Cavan and Monaghan, with outdoor children’s clubs, door-to-door visiting and open-air evangelism.
