North English District

The North English Distr ictstretches from N. Cheshire to Tyne & Wear taking in the counties of Lancashire, N. Lincolnshire, Yorkshire, Durham and Cleveland. There is  a variety of outreach events, missions, Sunday services, Prayer Unions, midweek meetings, youth and children’s work. Leyburn Monthly Meeting

Our Work Involves:

James and Lynda Bovenizer are based in the Preston area and are involved in village evangelism, school assemblies, children’s and young peoples clubs and door to door evangelism.

Mark and Sheena Nelson are based in Esh Winning, Co. Durham. Before training at FMBC, Mark trained as an Electronic Engineer in Glasgow and Sheena trained as a chef in Dublin. After getting married in 2009, Mark joined Sheena in Esh Winning where they now work together. Their work includes Church Support (Preaching and Evangelism) and Children’s/ Schools Work across the Tyne & Wear, Co. Durham and Tee’s Valley area.

Leyburn is a picturesque market town sometimes called ‘gateway to the Yorkshire Dales’. The Faith Mission have a Mission Hall on Shawl Terrace just above the market square and car park. All are welcome to come along on the first Sunday of the month at 3.00 and stay afterwards for refreshments.
