The Anchor, Ballymena
Over 15 years ago "The Anchor" started in the old Town Hall in Ballymena, later moving to The Faith Mission Centre in High Street. It has been greatly used by God to minister to young people around the Ballymena area and beyond.

Prayer, preparation & outreach
takes place each Friday before the Anchor @ 9.30 pm
Who is it for?
Young people in their late teens, twenties and thirties are invited along. We
meet on the second Saturday of each month @ 8.15 pm October - June. The aim is
to share the gospel and encourage young Christians.
Those 40 and over would be welcome at any of our Rallies (see District News
page) where they can enjoy ministry from God’s Word, fellowship and usually a
lovely supper. Other events include Bangor Convention (April), the North Ulster
Bible Weekend (May) and the openairs and BBQ at Portrush in the summer (check
website for updates).
What happens?
The meeting starts at 8.15 pm (not 8.18!) with one of the team leading everyone in the singing of some gospel songs. Most nights a group will be invited along to sing some contemporary Christian pieces and a guest speaker will share relevant messages from God’s Word.
How much does it cost?
After the meeting in the main hall, a self-service supper of various desserts, pastries and fruit (for the more health-conscious) is provided via two service points This is free but baskets are left for donations towards the many expenses involved in organizing such an event.
