South East English District

The South East English District comprises the counties of Norfolk, Suffolk, and Essex with some work in surrounding counties. Stephen and Cynthia Walker are in charge of the work and are joined by Arabella Paul in Kent.

In the summer months a number of students from the Bible College in Edinburgh also share in the work throughout the district. Throughout the year the team are involved in a wide variety of Christian ministry.

Our Work Involves:

Our primary objective is to take gospel initiatives, either together with local churches, or in communities in partnership with several churches. We have been involved in a variety of evangelistic activities like door to door work, school work such as assemblies, RE lessons and Bible Explorer, as well as organising or speaking at outreach events such as breakfasts, BBQ's and family events. Gospel opportunities in this district also include camp, two here in Earl Stonham and one in the spring in Kent.

Another part of our work here involves sharing the vision of evangelism with our supporters who span many different ages and denominations, encouraging them as they pray for us and gathering folks together for fellowship as we move forward together. We have recently been encouraged with new opportunities for training here at the centre, both for young people and the more established church member, thinking about gospel initiatives in their area. There are also many other speaking engagements which involves travelling around various churches preaching and teaching the "Word" which we love so much and inevitably has changed our lives.
